Hotels inside and near the airport
CDG’s hotels fall into three groups — inside the terminals, one CDGVAL stop away, or a short free shuttle ride. All of them serve early departures, late arrivals and long connections, and the free CDGVAL shuttle train links the whole complex.
Inside the terminals
| Hotel | Where exactly |
|---|---|
| Sheraton | Inside Terminal 2 — CDGVAL station “Terminal 2” |
| YotelAir | In the international zone of Terminal 2E — CDGVAL station “Terminal 2” |
The Sheraton is inside Terminal 2 — you can walk from the terminal straight to check-in; YotelAir rents compact rooms (also by the hour) in Terminal 2E’s international zone — the one hotel inside the transit area, subject to transit-zone eligibility for your route.
One CDGVAL stop: Roissypôle (Terminal 3 station)
Several full-service hotels sit minutes from the terminals via the CDGVAL “Terminal 3 – Roissypôle” station:
citizenM Paris Charles de Gaulle · Hilton Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport · Hotel ibis Paris CDG Airport · ibis Styles Paris Charles-de-Gaulle Airport · Hôtel Novotel Paris Charles de Gaulle Aéroport · Radisson Blu CDG Airport Terminal
CDGVAL “Parking PR”: hotels by the long-stay car park
Courtyard · Holiday Inn Express · Innside by Melia · Mercure · Moxy · Residence Inn
Free shuttle-bus hotels
Hotels in Roissy-en-France and Le Mesnil Amelot run free shuttles both ways. Boarding is at the Terminal 2 train station, level 5, platform 2, and reaching the terminals takes 15–30 minutes — the main trade-off versus the CDGVAL clusters:
| Bus direction | Hotels served |
|---|---|
| Roissy-en-France — Allée du Verger area | Campanile, Golden Tulip, Aiden by Best Western, Marriott, Mercure, Millennium, PentaHotel, Première Classe, Holiday Inn, Standing Hotel Suites |
| Roissy-en-France — Paris Nord 2 area | Novotel, Première Classe, Van der Valk Hotel Paris CDG Airport |
| Le Mesnil Amelot | Courtyard, Premiere Classe, Campanile, Geographotel |
How to choose
- Match hotel to your departure terminal. A hotel “at CDG” can still mean a 15–30 minute shuttle ride; check which terminal it serves before booking, not after.
- Early flight: prefer walkable/CDGVAL-connected over shuttle-dependent; shuttles run on schedules you do not control.
- Late arrival: the reverse logic — a 23:30 landing makes a shuttle-bus hotel risky compared with CDGVAL or on-foot options.
- Overnight transit (no border crossing): only the airside YotelAir in Terminal 2E’s international zone — confirm with the hotel and your airline that your itinerary allows staying in the transit area.
