Choosing without overthinking it

  • Going into Paris? RER B stays the cheaper pick even for three people (three €14 tickets = €42, against the €56/€65 fixed taxi fares). Pick the taxi for door-to-door comfort, heavy luggage or late-night arrivals rather than for price.
  • Disneyland? The TGV runs from the Terminal 2 station to Marne-la-Vallée/Disneyland in 10–15 minutes and is worth booking ahead; the Magical Shuttle (~45 minutes, traffic-dependent) suits hotel-direct trips with children.
  • Orly? RER B with the Orlyval connection, or RER B plus Metro line 14 — both take about 70–80 minutes.
  • Landing late? Check RER B’s last departures; Noctilien night buses (N140/N143) run into Paris when the RER has stopped.
RER B is under major engineering works throughout 2026. Check live conditions on the day — works mostly hit late-evening and weekend service. Our destination pages carry the current official notice.

Where each option departs

  • RER B: stations serve Terminal 1, Terminal 2 (between 2C–2D and 2E–2F) and Terminal 3/Roissypôle.
  • Taxis: official ranks at each terminal exit, marked with illuminated signs.
  • TGV: the rail station at Terminal 2, linked to the halls by short walks/CDGVAL.
  • Buses (9517, Noctilien, Magical Shuttle): bus stops at Roissypôle near Terminals 2–3.

Each option’s full step-by-step page (linked above and in the transport section) covers tickets, luggage and timing in detail.
