How to get from Terminal 2D to Terminal 2G

This is the usual route. Your exact path can vary by arrival hall and connection.

  1. 1
    Terminal 2D → Terminal 2E

Walk — landside covered corridors · Free shuttle bus — free N1 loop

  2. 2
    Terminal 2E → Terminal 2G

Free shuttle bus — airside transit bus · Automated shuttle — LISA train from gate M first

T2D to T2E: Landside (before security): follow signs through the covered walking corridors connecting Terminal 2 halls, approx 5-15 min. Alternative: free N1 shuttle bus serving 2A (Gate 5), 2C (Gate 12), 2D (Gate 6), 2E (Gate 16), 2F (Gate 2).

T2E to T2G: From 2E gates K or L walk to the transit bus; from gate M take the LISA transit train to K first. All passengers then continue by airside transit bus to Terminal 2G.

Do you need passport control?

The terminal pair alone does not determine the answer. What matters is your travel direction, whether your route stays airside, and whether you are entering the Schengen Area.

Border control by direction

  • Schengen → Schengen Not required
  • Schengen → Non-Schengen Required
  • Non-Schengen → Schengen Required
  • Non-Schengen → Non-Schengen Not required · only if you stay in the international transit zone
  • Non-Schengen → Non-Schengen Required · leaving the transit zone counts as entering France
Use the Connection Planner for a journey-specific answer. This guide does not turn a general terminal route into a universal border-control rule.

Do you need to collect checked baggage?

On one booking, your bag is normally checked through to your final destination. With separate tickets, plan to collect your bag and check it in again, unless your airline confirms it is checked through.

Check your baggage tag

The destination printed on your baggage tag is one of the most useful clues. If you are unsure, confirm with the airline at your departure airport.
