How the airport fits together
Here is the layout that answers travelers’ questions — every element links to a detailed page on this site. For zoomable maps of every level, use the official Paris Aéroport terminals map:
Terminal 1
A circular building with five satellite boarding areas. Schengen and non-Schengen flights.
Terminal 1 guide →Terminal 2 (2A–2G)
2A–2D (connected public area, walkable) · 2E (halls K/L/M) · 2F · 2G (shuttle).
2E guide → · 2F → · 2G →CDGVAL (free, ~every 4 min): Terminal 1 ↔ Parking P ↔ Roissypôle/Terminal 3 ↔ Terminal 2 station. It is the main link for travel between T1, T2 and T3 — and for several airport hotels.
How to travel between terminals
| From → To | How |
|---|---|
| Between Terminals 1, 2 and 3 | CDGVAL + short walks; follow “CDGVAL” signs |
| Between 2A, 2B, 2C and 2D | Walk through the connected public area — corridors, no transport needed |
| 2E → 2F (or reverse) | Airside walk with moving walkways; time depends on 2E hall (K/L/M) |
| 2F → 2G (or reverse) | Free airside shuttle bus, ~15 min ride |
| 2E main → halls L / M | Internal automated shuttle inside 2E |
Every terminal pair has its own transfer guide with steps and times — browse them from the transfers index.
